Organizational moment

Teacher greets learners.

Learners take sheets of papers. Read and choose one paper with words, which they follow during their lesson. It will be their class rules. Another sheets of paper which they don't need. They crumple it and throw into the trash

Warm-up

Teacher asks learners to play a game “Four pictures and one word”. Learners can see four pictures at the blackboard. They should guess key word. It will be the theme of the lesson. Then teacher elicits the lesson objectives in a simplified manner. Teacher discusses the leaning objectives with learners.

Teacher asks 3 questions: 1st  group- Who is Peter Pan? 2nd group- Where does Peter live? 3 rd group- Why doesn’t Peter grow up? Formative assessment: smiles

1st  group

Learners from the first group read and write down main information about James Mattew Barrie. The author of Peter Pan.

Descriptor: 

-Learners read and write down information about J.M.Barrie. 

-The speaker presents the text content to another group.

2 group

Learners from the first group read and write down main information from the extract of composition.

Descriptor: 

- Learners read the extract of composition and choose the main information.

- The speaker gives the main information from the text.

3rd group

Learners from the third group work with grammar. They try to understand and write scheme. Descriptor:

- Read the rule and define differences between it and there in the sentences.

- The speaker explains the rule and gives examples

Focus on explaining

Each group has its speaker. They change their places. Speakers explain and give some information, which they discussed in their groups. Learners listen to the teacher and take some notes if necessary.

Role play

 Each group should prepare two questions. The first group is a journalist, the second group is a respondent and the third group is a secretary. A Journalist asks questions, a respondent gives answers and a secretary writes questions. Then they change their roles.
